thank you and thank you some more...
in 2011 we achieved quite a few firsts with the debut of our two signature collections, Expressions and My 2 Cents, as well as our first Holiday Collection which featured ten greeting cards and five invitations. we are so appreciative of the love and support from our customers, family, friends, and supporters that made the year extremely fun, invigoratingly exciting, fruitful, inspiring and blessed. so thank you and thank you some more for riding with us, embracing our products, and making a difference through your inspirations, volunteer efforts and donations.
2012 is here and we're looking forward to another fabulous journey! the beginning of the year is the time when we select the core initiatives and organizations that we will support in the upcoming year. from the inception of stay lifted, we knew that we wanted to celebrate women in our creative expressions while giving back to those whose fundamental needs are unmet. in staying true to these goals, we strive to create products with visual statements and images that convey a sense of self and punctuate the way we experience life. we also give a percentage of the profits from all stationery products to select organizations that are dedicated to educating children and improving the lives of women locally and around the globe.
this year our core organizations and projects include Charity Water, Susan G. Komen For the Cure, and Global Fund for Women. as always, you have the option of supporting our selected charities or donating to another cause of your choice at no additional cost with every purchase. additionally, if you know of a great organization/cause that isn't on our radar, please comment on our blog and let us know.
thanks again for your continued support, energy, and inspiration as we embark on another amazing journey in 2012. wishing you love, peace, joy and everything fabulous this year.

| Today is World AIDS Day... AIDS affects close to 33.3 million people worldwide. 2.6 million people became infected in 2009 and the epidemic is still sweeping through south africa. although reports indicate that the number of new cases is down, we can't be complacent when it comes to HIV education, prevention and treatment. we are donating an additional $1.00 from every product sold in december to organizations and efforts that are committed to the education, prevention and treatment of this disease. we are thrilled that each time you make a purchase, you make a difference at no additional cost to you. so not only does sending and receiving fabulous stationery from stay lifted brighten someone's day, but collectively our impact is even GREATER. |

get in the know...
november is American Diabetes Month and we're reminding everyone of the seriousness of diabetes and the importance of prevention. with nearly 24 million people in the united states including 10.2% of women over age 20, and an additional 57 million children and adults at risk, it is imperative that we remain educated about this disease and that we do our part to promote prevention through education, diet and lifestyle. in some communities the statistics are even more startling such as the african american community where it is estimated that nearly half of all african american women born after the year 2000 will develop diabetes in their life time.consequently, we are eagerly supporting the stop diabetes movement by donating an additional $1.00 from every featured item sold this month to organizations and efforts that are committed to the education, prevention and treatment of this disease. for additional information on diabetes, you can visit the American Diabetes Association website at http://www.diabetes.org.

Think Pink!
october is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so we're shining a light on the importance of continuing to support the research, detection, and treatment of breast cancer. women's health is important to us and many of our stay lifted staff members have friends and family who are survivors and who have lost their battle with cancer. with the help of our customers, staff, and friends, we have donated to several projects and organizations including the EIF Revlon Walk/Run for Cancer, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and the National Breast Cancer Foundation. we encourage you to stay informed and to support organizations such as these that are dedicated to fighting cancer.we are proud to say that we have greeting cards and note cards that are designed specifically to promote breast cancer awareness. during the month of october, we are giving an additional $1.00 to breast cancer research from each of these featured products. view all designs by using the link or clicking the picture below.

drum roll please...
2011 Holiday Collection
what a difference 12 months make! this time last year i was putting the finishing touches on my first full collection of cards and notebooks thinking that i may possibly, hopefully, if God willing, the planets aligned, and every support system in my life joined forces to lift me up, pull it off in time to share with my loyal customer base, family and friends. those collections, My 2 Cents and Expressions, debuted at the National Stationery Show in may of this year to great reviews and have had a wonderful response since then. who knew that in just 3 short months, we would be debuting another collection!
our new holiday collection includes greeting cards, (our first) invitations, and wine gift tags in the same fashionable, fun style that is expected. each design has hand-embellishments including metallic accents, what we call glitter glam, and jewels, and is paired with a fabulous metallic or leather-like envelope. even though several of these looks have been coming together for a while, i'm still in the honeymoon stage and very excited about their debut. we hope you are too! you can view the full collection as this month's feature on our website by clicking here.
a special thanks to my wonderful kids for putting up with an extremely busy mommy, my rockstar support team, super mom aka nana, and my honey. ahhh...i can exhale. but only for a moment...the holidays are just around the corner!
